What is Contractors All Risk Insurance?
If you are an employer or a contractor, Contractors All Risks insurance (CAR), incorporating Plant and Machinery, and Contract Works, protects you against your responsibility for loss or damage on any building site you work on. Typically, it provides cover for the cost of physical loss or damage to building works, installation and constructional plant and machinery including hired-in plant and tools.
